Beach City Stairs is looking for a dependable, motivated Shop Manager to join our Florida team. This is a hands-on position responsible for helping manage the day-to-day operations of our shop, including fabrication workflow, employees, materials, equipment, quality control, and production schedules.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is organized and reliable, and is ready to take ownership of keeping a busy shop running efficiently.

Responsibilities

As Shop Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage daily shop operations, organization, and workflow
• Learn and understand Beach City Stairs’ fabrication and production processes
• Supervise and direct shop employees as needed
• Coordinate fabrication and material preparation with project schedules
• Maintain company quality-control and workmanship standards
• Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, and completion timelines
• Manage shop tools, equipment, materials, and inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Coordinate with management, project managers, and field personnel
• Identify and communicate material shortages, production delays, or other issues
• Take increasing ownership of the shop’s daily operations and overall performance
• Perform other duties associated with the Shop Manager position

• Has previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience
• Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Is dependable, accountable, and able to work independently
• Understands the importance of productivity, efficiency, and meeting deadlines
• Is willing to learn Beach City Stairs’ processes and grow within the position

Compensation & Growth

Compensation is dependent on experience.

This position offers the opportunity for continued growth as you develop your knowledge of Beach City Stairs’ operations and demonstrate your ability to independently manage the shop. Compensation may be reviewed over time based on experience, performance, leadership, and increased responsibilities.
